Hardware Replacement

7.6 ReplacingtheBacklight

Note:

Alllampsinthedisplaymustbereplacedatthesametime.

The following is needed:

• Two new backlights, see Available Spare Parts for iX P anel T A150

• AtorxT10screwdriver

• A screwdriver Phillips size 0 or 00

Note:

MakesuretouseadequateESDprotection.

Follow the steps below to replace the battery of the iX Panel TA150:

First, follow the steps 1–5 in section Replacing the Rear Cover.

Remove the two cross-headed screws to the backlight, using the Phillips size

00 screwdriver. This way, backlights can be removed without removing the

plate.

Remove the backlights.

Insert the new backlights. Be careful not to pull the cables of the new

backlights when inserting them, sinc e pulling the cables will damage the

backlights.

Re-assemble the complete operator panel.
