10 EnvironmentalAspects
This chapter includes inform ation about the environmental impact of the EPC
TA70 AM. More information can be found on the manufacturer’s web site.
10.1 GeneralEnvironmentalAspects
The manufacturer’s activities meet internal requirements as well as those of the
SS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and SS-EN ISO 14001:2004 international standards.

PCs
10.2.1 MechanicalComponents
The aluminum and stainless steel used in the mechanical components are judged
to be non-environmentally hazardous. The expanded rubber packing for the front
and the expanded polyethylene packing for the display contain an adhesive that is
not classified as environmentally hazardous.
Screws may have undergone the following surface treatme

nickel-plating or bright zinc-plating. The membrane
keyboard is made of
polyester with silver wiring. On some models th

Display frames and CF covers are made of halogen-free plastic, PC/ABS.
10.2.2 Electronics
CircuitBoard
Note:
AllPanelPCsareRoHScompliant.
The electronics are compl
ex and almost all elements of the periodic table are
represented.
Display
There is a separate
circuit board for the display. The liquid crystals in the display
are cyclohexane c
